This error was occuring on Vista caused due to administrator privalege issues. This is now fixed in current installations. To work around this issue for previous versions, click install save setup.exe to your desktop. Right-click and select Run as Administrator. |

.NET 3.5 Install Failing |
Some XP machines had been experiencing problems with installing the Micorosft .NET Framework v3.5.
To fix this issue Microsoft recommend running the .NET cleanup tool (click to download).
Once complete, re-run BarStock Installation or you can install Micorosft .NET Framework v3.5 independently.

Changes to stock data on the Stock Data were sometimes being saved to multiple columns. E.g. changing Closing Stock might copy value to Transfers Out. Please note that you need to create a new Stock Period to fix this issue after install. |

SQL Server 2008 on Vista |
Some installations failing on SQL Server 2008 because it needs Windows Installer 4.5 and this is not correctly installed on Windows Vista.
Update - Jul-09 this issue is fixed with new installer V2.1 upwards. If problems persist you can install Windows Installer 4.5 (Windows6.0-KB942288-v2-x86.msu) first and then install BarStock.

Generating Reports shows Database Logon Screen |
Crystal Reports was popping up a Database Logon Screen on some installations. This was due to missing drivers or happening for installations to non-default locations. Fixed: the install location no longer has any effect and the drivers are installed if this error occurs. |

WinMobile New Product Creation |
When scanning an unrecognisted product and adding a new profile on V1.3 was showing a form with some missing fields and reporting errors. New profiles later cause synchronisation on the PC to give some warnings. |
